| Sometimes paper is meant to deliver more
than a written message. It can open and close, pop up, stand
up or hang. We can mount to a number of different substrates
including paper-to-paper, paper-to-board, or paper-to-plastic.
The process uses a tool or mechanical pressure to produce
a sharply defined fold before securing the piece. In mechanical
folding, the sheet is doubled between two rollers under an
appropriate amount of pressure for the thickness of the paper.
The end result is a sharp fold that virtually eliminates the
paper’s natural tendency to remain flat. The glues used
in securing a piece can be hot or cold, removable or permanent.
Whether it’s flat piece work, pocket folders or marketing
brochures, Alco Print Finishers has the skills and
finishing techniques required to complete these and many other
demanding project requirements.
